Kpop Sensation BTS’s leader RM has made a meaningful donation.
On September 12, Leader RM celebrated his 26th birthday with BTS‘s members and his fans. The leader hosted a V Live session to celebrate and interact with ARMY.
However, RM didn’t only celebrated his birthday by communicating with his fans only. According to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), Kim Namjoon has made a generous donation to the museum.
He made a donation of 100 million won (approximately $84,200) to the museum, which will be used to reprint the hard-to-find and out-of-print books related to art.
The reprinted books will be sent to 400 places across the country, including elementary, middle, and high schools. The reprint books will also available in the museum’s bookstore, which can be bought.

MMCA’s director, Yoon Bum Mo, said, “RM expressed his desire to support the field of art, in which he has found inspiration and comfort. He was able to gain a deeper understanding of arts through books, so he hopes that these books will help children and youth to come into contact with art. We were happy and surprise by his wish.”
“We will work hard to expand the practice of reading books about art together with RM, who often visits the museum in spite of his busy schedule and has been a positive influence in increasing interest in art.” he added.
