UP10TION’s Bitto and Kogyeol have been tested positive for COVID-19.
On December 1, UP10TION‘s label, TOP Media, announced that member Kogyeol have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Kogyeol is the second member from UP10TION”s to be diagnosed with COVID-19, Bitto tested positive for COVID-19 on November 31.
After completing scheduled activities, Bitto was informed that he came in close contact with confirmed test, and underwent examination. On morning of November 30, he was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
Other agency artists, staff, and employees who came in close contact with Bitto were also examined. On December 1, TOP Media revealed that member Kogyeol tested positive, while other members tested negative for COVID-19
Although other members tested negative, the UP10TION members and their manager will self-quarantine for two weeks. This measure was taken as they were in close contact with Bitto and Kogyeol. Other artist beside UP10TION, staff, and employees have tested negative.
Both Bitto and Kogyeol underwent quarantine, and UP10TION’s all scheduled activities has been cancelled.
